What it actually is

Two things that usually get filmed on the same day. A testimonial is your client on camera explaining what the problem was and what you did about it. A walkthrough moves through the finished building at eye level, showing how it actually feels to be in it rather than how it looks from the air.

Who it is for

Anyone whose sales conversation currently relies on being believed. A main contractor saying they are easy to work with is marketing. Their client saying it on camera is evidence, and it does the work for you in a bid or a pitch when you are not in the room.

What you get

A short film per interview, cut with footage of the work being discussed so it never becomes a talking head. Plus pull quotes cut as standalone clips for social, which get far more use than the full film does.

Getting a good interview out of someone who hates being filmed

Most people say they are terrible on camera. They are not, they are just being asked bad questions. We send the questions in advance, keep the setup small and shoot it as a conversation, and we cut around the hesitations. Nobody has to remember a script.

FAQ

Questions.

What developers, contractors and architects ask us about testimonial and walkthrough films.

(001)

How long does filming a testimonial take?

+
Around an hour per person on site, including setting up. We usually film two or three people in a morning, which gives you several months of content from one visit.
(002)

Do our clients need to prepare anything?

+
No. We send the questions across beforehand so nobody is caught out, but there is nothing to learn and no script. The best answers are the unrehearsed ones.
(003)

Can you film a walkthrough while the building is occupied?

+
Yes. We work early, late or around whoever is using the space, and we can film in sections so nobody is asked to clear a floor.
(004)

What if the client says something we would rather not use?

+
You see the cut before it goes anywhere and nothing is published without your sign off. It is your relationship with that client, not ours.
(005)

How much does construction video cost?

+
Site visits start from £350 plus VAT. What moves the price from there is the size of the site, how long we need on it, how many services you want on the same visit and how much editing the finished films need. Photography, FPV drone flythroughs and interviews can all be added to a visit rather than booked as separate days, which is why regular clients get more for the same money. Send over the scheme and the dates and you will have a written quote back within a day.
